I do love this song. I first heard it when I first saw 'Death' (Obviously) and it still remains with me. This was, in every possible sense, the calm before the storm. For after these credits run 'Rebirth' would start and the insanity would begin.
I don't know if any of you knew this but the first 30 minutes of 'EoE' IS 'Rebirth'. After that is when 'EoE' really begins with the 9 remaining Eva units circling above.
