This a video tutorial of how to install and run eeebuntu 810 on a flash drive with an asus eeepc. The instructions and methods are a slight modification of those on pendrivelinux.com. PLEASE comment and rate - thankyou!

  • It worked for me i think, but i havent used it in ages. I have since gotten rid of it and installed Kubuntu 9.04/9.10 on the eee using the exact same method ( ie using a different iso ) - Ubuntu i think has far better wifi support hope that helps

  • Not sure, it always just worked for me. If you have a wired connection or some other way perhaps try the wcid network manager. Acyually i am using full kubuntu 904 on the eeepc now and loving it far more than eeebuntu.

  • No way to install Eeebuntu STANDARD 3.0

    on eeepc,

    I tested all : USB, SD card, from 2 GB to 16 GB ,

    16 or 32 Formation,

    No way.

    eeebuntu_standard_1.0.iso works fortunately.

  • You don't need the USB if you use the installer.

  • Aha, I think I forgot to run the card on HP Format tool. I'll give give it one more try
