Canadian Pedophile Sentenced in Thailand

A Canadian school teacher has been sentenced in a Thai court for abduction and molestation of children. He was tracked down after computer experts unraveled distorted pieces of his face from images he had posted on the Internet.

STORY:
Pedophile Christopher Neil arrives at court in Thailand for sentencing after he admitted abducting and molesting a 14-year-old boy. The Canadian school teacher was jailed for 39 months for the abuse.
He's also been ordered pay his victim's family the equivalent of over 1,700 dollars in compensation.

A spokesman for Neil's lawyer said the former fugitive had shown no emotion in court.

"Before the verdict he said that he didn't think he had done anything wrong."

Neil was tracked down after his digitally-distorted face was unraveled by police experts from images of abuse he posted on the Internet. Those images are believed to have been taken in Vietnam and Cambodia.

As the net spread in what's become known as the "swirly-face" case, Neil fled from South Korea to Thailand. He's been jailed in Bangkok after the 14-year-old victim and his nine-year-old brother came forward there.

Neil faces another trial in October over alleged abuse of the nine-year-old.

I sort of agree with the castration suggestion. The sad reality is that some child molesters were molested when they were younger.

Even with this they still have a choice. I was asaulted when I was an 8 year old by a stranger in a pool dressing room. I was threatened that he would cut my glans of if I resisted. Eventualy he performed oral on me, which sort of felt good. I did not mention this to anyone untill I married my wife. You can never erase it from your mind.
