Student protests
From the Arab Spring to the Occupy movement, 2011 has definitely been a year of protest. On Wednesday 9th November thousands took to the streets in a largely peaceful demonstration against the rise in tuition fees and government cuts. London 360 went along to uncover the root of the protestors discontent.

Pirate Radio
Unauthorised broadcasting, otherwise known as pirate radio, is as old as radio itself and has a greater presence in the capital than we perhaps realise. London 360 was interested to explore how relevant it still is in this new internet age and whether it still has a place in our community. They sent reporter Carina Nava Johnson to find out.

Olympic London - Get Set Scheme
One in eight school children across the capital are being given the opportunity to see the Games for free next summer, courtesy of the Mayor of London. However, it seems the scheme is not taking off as hoped. Reporter Abdullah Moallim went back to school in Ilford to find out why not.

London Literacy
Back in Series 1, London 360 made a feature about The Evening Standard's Get London Reading campaign, which was launched in June to combat low literacy levels across the capital. 5 months on, LONDON360 reporter Lauren Hawkins went to meet one of the volunteers and her pupils to see how the scheme is helping children improve their reading and confidence.

Londoner of the Week - Mark Champkins
Champ by name, champ by nature. This week's Londoner of the week is Mark Champkins, inventor-in-residence at the Science Museum. London 360 went to meet the man of many ideas.

Asian Awards
Last month, Grosvenor House held the elite Asian Awards. In celebration of the achievements of South Asians worldwide. We went to find out about the various ways in which they have contributed to our society and how the Save the Children charity benefited from the night.
Features Boris Johnson, music star Jay Sean, Theresa May, Paul Sagoo, Nic Careem and many other top names from the Asian community.
