the basics are very poor. the black belts move with poor form. am sure the teacher is a nice person but is technically suspect. no need to rebutt. just surf around for vids of other karate and u will understand. posture, balance, footwork are way off. nothing against koei kan per se. ONLY what is shown in the video for certain individuals.

i like what i see..solid karatedo. but just to correct, bugu training is not unique to this style. Koshiki was launched world wide in 1979 and today is practiced all over the world. we should do an exchange between Koshiki and Koei kan. as we are all north americans we should find a way for all bogu styles to get together. I think unity is needed in this respect. cheers and take care
