  • Hi thanks for posting this very helpful series of PD tutorials.

However, im having difficulty with this section as my "pix_film" object when

created, the PD window says: "error: filmQT: Could not initialize quicktime: error -2093".

The pix_film wont load any video format, i can tell its not a syntax error or wiring etc as

the unpack from the outputs of the pix_film all display 0 0 0, as to say it hasnt loaded.

any help would be much appreciated thanks!!!

  • I guess I am doing something wrong (under WinXP), but I only managed to render a blank rectangle... :/

  • For me it doesn't work. I tried every format of movies. i noticed the mistake right in beginning, when you click CREATE it displays green rectangle, when I do it it shows just black one like in the beginning of tutorial when you had just 'gemwin' algorithm. Can someone tell me what is wrong?

  • @buschmann001 : Yes it is. midi in commands do it for you. you can use all midi parameters to juggle any variable! Look up midi in help.
