the novel made me cry...Jack killed himself when Danny and Wendy got away...the building exploded...Jack let his son get away letting him know he loved him....

@zake1998 jack gains part of his sanity back and tells danny that he loves him then he goes to the hotels boiler room because if the pressure isnt checked on it will blow up. of course the boiler blows up and the hotel is consumed in the explosion with jack while Danny wendy and dick escape with danny knowing that his father loved him
