  • "dont have sex you wont get AIDS"

Sure, lets just pretend ppl dont have sexual impulses and suppress our human nature (look at how effective it was with Catholic bishops). Ppl will have sex; u cant guilt ppl into avoiding part of human nature. Even if u remain abstinent until marriage, is there any guarantee ur partner has? Perhaps they're unfaithful? Condoms are DESIGNED to stop the spread of infectous diseases, and should never be condemned.

  • @alexgomez83 you forgot too add blood transfusions... dumbass

  • @chrisman737 how many languages do you speak? i speak 3 and english is not my native...

  • @sanriver12, I am just stating facts. By the way, there is no such word as "desinformation." The correct term is disinformation. I doubt I can really trust your assessment of disinformation if you can't even spell the word correctly.

  • @chrisman737 the desinformation idiots like these spread is mind boggling. you should be ashamed of yourself.

  • @singapore7773 actually is the other way around

  • @EarthCitizen81 condoms are designed to stop sperm cells not diseases

  • @chrisman737 what the hell, yes, because latex condoms are like rocket fuel to HIV.

Give me a link to his research and the FULL announcement he gave.

  • @BlackMetalWarewolf, disinformation? Hardly. Listen to Edward C. Green, director of the AIDS Prevention Research Project at Harvard: "The pope is correct. There is a consistent association shown by our best studies between greater availability and use of condoms and higher (not lower) HIV-infection rates."

  • @chrisman737 not driving is the only 100% effective way to prevent road deaths, seatbelts help but dont 100% solve that issue, does that mean seatbelts make fatal RTA's a bigger issue? does that mean we should stop driving?

Ignoring the health risks of abstinence, your argument that condoms make the probolem worse has the same flaw as the seatbelt analogy above. you adress the probolem by letting people assess risk and decide for themselves, without disinformation like "condoms make it worse".

  • @BlackMetalWarewolf , nope, HIV virus is small enough to pass right through the latex, even if the latex is not defective but perfectly normal. This does not mean that all HIV viruses will pass through, only that it is small enough to pass through. In terms of reducing chance of AIDS, read what TROJAN condoms say, that abstinence is the only 100% effective way of preventing the spread of stds.
