This was very frustrating to me because I tried various types of ammo, I was not limp-wristing, and I kept it clean. I eventually bought a new recoil spring (which was about 3-4 coils longer than my used spring... before I bought the new one, I had nothing to compare the used one to, so I didn't realize that this was the issue). After replacing the recoil spring, it shoots flawlessly. I've really enjoyed carrying this pistol, and I think its a great value for its price.

I've had my bersa 380 for about 2 years now, and I love it. It was given to me as a gift from a friend that knew I needed a carry piece. When I first received it, I had a few failure to feed problems (about 1 FTF in every 5-10 rounds).

Really good review. Better than most. Thanks.

@ervb44 Actually. it is a rip off of the PPK. The Beretta 84FS has a completely different battery of arms and a totally different internal functions.

@TirumphantAce - Just be careful though because if you rack your slide too much you might end up "going off" hahaha.

@mixwell1983 Amen brother.

@TirumphantAce - I am sensing come sarcasm here. It's hard to keep your finger off the trigger if you're doing dry fire practices....
@TheWhopman - I couldn't agree more.. Even when I am just messing around with my handguns I always make sure the mags are out and cycle the slide at least 3 times.. If I am practicing aim and intend to dry fire I will still cycle it 2 more times just for my own piece of mind.. Since my taurus pt92 is soo quick to strip opposed to the 1911 I usually just pull the slide off and look down the barrel just to be extra sure.. You can NEVER be to safe with firearms !
