That's a Kodak DX6490. And no, to be honest you can use pretty much any type of digital camera providing you can put the images into an editing package.

What still camera did you have on the tripod in the video? Does it matter what type of camera used in animation?

Great looking puppet - I'd like to see it in action on a set, with lighting and everthing!
