A quick tutorial on one method used to attach your anchor to your kayak so you can detatch from it quickly in case of trouble.

  • Thanks buddy! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I found most of your other parts at hook1. Only thing I cant figure out is the rubber stuff that goes around the rope. Is that to secure the rope ends or more for a stop againest the pulleys

  • @Dionysis62 Thanks just some heat shrink to make it look good. I use hog rings to secure it and slide heat shrink over it to cover up the hardware.

  • Where did you get your cleat? Much better than the set up I have

  • @Dionysis62 It's a cam cleat made by Harken. I found this one at West Marine, but there are cheaper places to get them online.
