happed to me ,yea if its a 5th gen,1st make sure get the NEWET itunes and it shold work ,because i don't think that spilling water or anything whold ruwin it =) good luck

blinking screen of death! obviously my screen is fried...

that sort of happened to me... i let my mom borrow my ipod and there was snapple (half and half) in her purse and she put my ipod in the purse and the snapple dumped in the purse.and that happened three days ago.it dumped inside the ipod and the screen blinks sometimes with water drippings and a line going down.

ok what you need to do buddy, is when u go to itunes, the little ipod name that u put is there, and when u see that right click and click eject so it will kno when to charge
