@ GaijinPrincess...have you had everything handed to you on a silver platter? What is your definition of poor? I gave away most of $1000 gift cards to families who had tragic accidents happen to them after the show. One family's house burned down, that doesn't make them poor. Another was a single mom trying to make ends meet, that doesn't make her poor. I may not live in an extravagant house but that's because we make smart economical decisions, live below our means, and save our money.

family dollar is not in my top ten favorite places to shop but the point is something nice was done for this woman and in these hard economic times there are plenty of people going to family dollar that never thought they would id use the hell out that 1000gift card
