AE does suck, I hate their clothes. I'm a J.Crew fan/ Unbranded clothes as I have a style that I discovered. A&F is pretty cool, nice jeans there.

No, not always. AF uses a lot of marketing and advertising to get you to buy their stuff. I have bought stuff for less than half the price of AF and it is the same or better quality.

Why would they have the sale items all the way in the back of the store? Any retailer with any sense whatsoever would have their sale items right there at the front of the store. Seems to me like they WANT you to spend too much money. People rant on others for hating on Abercrombie(which I do) because they think they can't afford it. No, it's because they don't want to pay $60 for a fucking Tshirt that is of the same quality as a $10 shirt.

you can't really knockoff another brand such as Abercrombie & Fitch with American Eagle. They are two different brands with two different brand personalities. .. and with knockoff, you meant to say to switch over to a close brand competitor. knockoff means counterfeit. There are already counterfeiting performed on A&F goods. AE is too cheap anyways to counterfeit.
The reason why A&F is hugely successful is brand recognition, image & loyalty.

And you can't compare A&F to American eagle. The quality sucks at AE thats why its so cheap.
