Seems to be a nice cross. I saw a Wander x Lute mare at the keuring this year and her foal (a colt by Feike) won 1st premie, champion colt.
I truly love Cori too. She is now 5 months pregnant with her third foal. This is by Heinse. Her last foal was by Heinse too. Look for my Wikke videos. Good luck with your boy...

I certainly hope he has the grace and elegance your Coriander has.

What a lovely mare. I own a yearling friesian (Wander 352, sire and Lute 304, damsire) and he is the light of my life. I can't wait to see what he looks like as he develops.

Nothing wrong with breeding quality. The Europeans got it right with the Keuring process. Our american breeds will approve anything based solely on "registered" status. Some people breed for the heck of it. Some people breed to improve the breed or to produce quality sport animals. There are lots of horses out there but most have been so poorly bred that they're not much use for high level competition.

Nicky just foaled this past week she was bred back to Wander and i didn't get to see her filly yet.
My question is why do people breed and breed when there are so many horses in the world already.

We may well see more approved sons from Wander, but I have this feeling that in the future he will end up being know for his daughters. They are becoming increasingly popular in the Netherlands and they are producing fine, fine foals. We'll see.
