Released In 1998 This Album Was Promoted As Being An Original Recording Of Some Obscure Nigerian Band. In Reality It Was The Labels House Band The "Soul Providers" . A Band Made Up Almost Entirely Of White Guy's From New York. This Was A Once Off Thing As Far As I Know. Some Of The Band Members Went On To Form Antibalas.
good friend, room mate had a copy... extra thick wax... just like like the 60's ... i dunno .. is someone out there still pressing thicker wax? hahahahha... mmmm...great track... the bass line is fantastic... keys sublime... horn arrangement supernatural... feel and throb and pulse and pull of the drums guitar...

Desco records rules. :) They released so many authentic sounding funk records it´s unbelievable. Unfortunately I skipped most of them (I only have Soul Donkey from the Sugarman Three). I have a few Soulfire releases though. Great afro style here. 5*
