@HeeLeeB try reinstalling fce...it might also be your computer is too slow...what are you running? and is it the most updated version of fce...DSLR's have much higher data rates than normal camcorders...so I'm guessiing maybe your comp cant handle it or there was just an error when installing it.

Zach! I have a question. I don't use pro, i use Final Cut Express, and ive been experiencing a few problems. 1: im using a panasonic lumix GH1 and when I log and Transfer, as soon as the clips start downloading, FCE "shuts down unexpectedly" and I can't fgure out how to fix that! 2: When I play what i have put in the timeline, its all pixelated and crappy in the canvas! I can't figure out how to fix it so I was hoping maybe you, or anyone who reads this, could help me? Thanks !:)
