Benjamin "scatman" Crothers was a marvel in the music scene. Most people have nothing but bad things to say about this movie, but ask yourself this. If Scatman, Barry White, and Philip Thomas were in it, do you think they would have done it? They did it to show the reals of the world that were happening. It wasnt all good times, the real world in your face can change your world view quick.

I believe you're correct. And looking back at TGPBR, it's easy to see how it influenced his work and changed the course of his life forever.

Agreed- Bob Clampett Inspired the bloody hell out of John K. I think it was "The great piggy bank robbery" that signaled John's awakening. I might be wrong, however.

Well, I certainly agree with you on John K. But despite his early work with Bakshi, if anyone "gave us" John K, it was Bob Clampett.

Almost witty - Timing.
Look mate, lets just tie the knot and get hitched already. I mean, we've just about cleaned out the garage here. I think its clear you admire me and I admire you too. I'm in no way saying I'm tired. Rather, I want you to know that I'm enjoying this and don't take me too seriously. This is fun debate. Not meaning to offend. And forget about Bakshi. The only thing I love about him is that he gave us John K who far surpassed him with utter grace and style.

Right. Such a shame really. You Americans always have to have the last word. Don't you? And it has to hurt, doesn't it? You claim to be a free-thinking, open-minded society but you certainly don't approve of anything or anyone with an opinion that differs from your own. I mean, look at you. look at whats happened to you along the way. Don't worry mate, Ive made my point long ago. Go back and read. Also, mind the "Miserable Failures" as YOU HAVE FAILED to see I'm not taking you seriously.:)
