Those arabesques are extraordinary - it's like when a butterfly alights on a leaf and although the butterfly is momentarily still, there's that feeling of movement, that feeling that the butterfly can hardly wait to fly off again. You catch your breath watching it, and that's what those arabesques are like.

hi judyanddavid - good to hear from you - now why haven't i thought of an image as apt as that - LOL. i know exactly what you have in mind about the potential of movement in that stillness. did you see (were you referring to) that arabesque i snagged in the last video i uploaded - 'Anna Pavlova - Extended film of 'The Dumb Girl of Portici'? perfection, like a frieze on a cameo Wedgewood. cheers
