Tony Hatch had a knack for getting arrangements in place (I don't know if he did them himself) that provided Petula with a British answer to the Phil Spector sound. And knock it out of the ballpark he did.

Fantastic! I never knew this existed. One of the best tracks from Petula's "I Know A Place" album. Wonderful! Thank you.

Yes the blurs are timecode and archive number "hard erases". Timecode and/or archive numbers are hard coded into the video when its given out to individuals for screening purposes. It's impossible to complete erase since it's blocking sections of the actual video, the techniques used to erase them range from very good to awful. This is one of the better "erases". I actually prefer collecting them with the numbers than the blurred lines.

@bikebeerrun1960 Y'know, . . . for a change, . . . you're right, . . . you're really right, . . . I, . . . maybe it's the pure simplicity of the set, . . . an' maybe the quality of song and presentation, . . . and not having to see Simon what's his name try an'wreck everything

This blows away all that (insert country) idol crap !
Why do all your videos have those two dams blur lines??

@ladbrady It was like that when I got them. They're probably blurry to hide a time code, or something.
