This happened in Johore, Malaysia at the Johore river mouth at 6.30pm opposite Pulau Ubin on 17th July 2008. No wonder oil prices are high as it is still being burnt at random.

  • @nautidude, just a curious question. How do you know if it's being burnt at random?

  • I work in the oil transportation and I remember seeing a fire at OilTanking back either late 2001 or early 2002 on the Houston ship channel. Just came through Fred Hartman bridge and looking west u could see flames. A Month later while at OilTanking saw the remains of what was a tank.

  • I work in a Oil Storage Company, and also I'm volunter fireman and just one time happend in the company, a 200,000 barrels (1b=159 lts) tank of primary gas. It's really hard work try to stop the fire.
