how do we know these recordings are really from NASA, that they really are astronauts talking? that the audio isn't edited (which, as an audio engineer myself, would be extremely for me to do, even if i wasn't one i could do it..)? I'm not a non-believer, i just know enough to question these things, I am not just gonna blindly beleive everything i see on youtube...

2:20 - 2:35 seems to look like a war to me.

Can we quit OUR war for a minute and make sure our planet isn't hit in a crossfire?

And if we are reallly firing plasma at space ships, how do we know if they really are hostile to us BEFORE the first shot?

i don't get this line of "reasoning"... so many authorities would concur that we would be like ants to these beings who must have travelled ridiculous distances (bent space et al) to visit us (at least based on our current technological capabilities). the question then becomes, how the hell would we possibly be able to "reverse engineer" their technology? it bears repeating that we would be to them, as humans are now to say... take your pick of insect?
