is the track nickel silver and is it weatherproof?

@Tuxedo748 Yes, it's Peco and only needs a clean with a track rubber after not using for a while.

Hi, really impressed with what you have done.. Was wondering if you could advise, what size bolts did you use and is the downpipe plastic? How did you get over the problem of the curves at each corner. Thank you for taking the time to put this on utube. has given me a lot of ideas.

Hi, I think I used 10mm hexagonal bolts - long ones that could be set into concrete. I used postcrete which sets quickly, Downpipes were plastic which you can get from B&Q or Wickes.
For the corners I worked out the size of downpipe and decking board by splitting the 90 degree angle into three sections of 30 degrees. Wish I had made a larger radius though, some of the bigger locos struggle round the bends even though I made it to Hornby 3rd radius size.

Hi "wheelsonfire",
Love the video. Can I ask you, what's that beautiful music in the background playing at the start?
All the best
