Still As Beautiful: Chapter 59, Part 2 [Read Description!]

A/N: I am posting this tonight because I'm going to be in my beautiful hometown tomorrow and I don't feel like posting then. This is also for my girl Sha. I hope your day improves soooon, girl! Enjoy!

"The flowers" Trace pointed. "Are they for Miley?"
"Yeah" Nick said, swallowing his words hard.
"Lilies?"
"Its not a date man, Im just taking her out" Nick lied and bit the feeling that was bubbling in the back of his throat. In truth, Nick was taking Miley out, but this was meant to be their first date, in celebration of a relationship they had now kept a secret for a year and thirteen days.
"Why not roses?"
"Not a date" Nick spiked again. What he wanted to say was that Miley hated roses, and that White Stargazer Lilies were actually her favorite flower. Inwardly, Nick cursed Trace for not knowing that, secretly wondering why it really bothered him so much.
"What time will you have her home?"
"Curfew is midnight, sometime before then" Nicks words left his mouth in rhythm. His words were much smoother than they had been at one point. Nick wasnt the same boy that fell in love with Traces baby sister a few years back, and now Trace just needed to realize that.
"Where are you taking her?"
"Valentinos"
"Are you going to make her pay?" Clearly Trace didnt skip a beat.
"No. I would never. Have I ever?" Nick quipped back, knowing Trace was soon running out of questions and that maybe it was time to ask some of his own.
"Just checking. Youll walk her to the door, right?"
"Of course"
"And you wont stay here no matter how long were out, right?" Nick furrowed his brow, not quite sure what Trace was referring to. "Right?"
"No, of course-"
"Trace, leave him alone" Both boys turned around as Miley began to descend the staircase. Her tan legs shined underneath the dim foyer light and contrasted the light color of her dress which hit her mid-thigh.
Once again Nick used the wall for support as he leaned back and mouthed a silent 'wow' in Mileys direction. She smiled, her cheeks blushing as she met her eyes with the carpeted stairs, watching every step she took with care. Nick closed his mouth and even allowed his own lips to curve into a small smirk as he stared at her legs as Miley walked toward them. "You ready?"
Nick looked up and met eyes with Mileys for what seemed like the millionth time in those few short seconds. "Yeah, here" He gestured toward the lilies. "These are for you"
Miley took them and placed the petals at her nose. She inhaled softly, feeling as the scent of her favorite flower made its way to her senses. "Theyre beautiful, thank you" She held the bouquet close to her chest like a teddy bear, careful all the while, as she managed to not break a single bud off its stem in the process. "Brandi, can you put these in water? Im already running late...oh my god, how long have you been waiting?"
Nick smirked. "Five minutes? Not even"
"You said youd be here at six-thirty..."
"Right, so youd be ready at seven giving us enough time to get to the restaurant by seven-thirty...you ready?" As the words left Nicks mouth, Miley continued to smile, almost dropping the lilies she was handing off to Brandi. He knew her so well. Everything about this boy was perfect, and once more, he was hers.
"Of course"
"Hey Mi, when you get home, use the back door, okay? Trace and I have a show tonight and well be home early tomorrow morning..." Her voice trailed off as Miley barely listened. Her heels were already out the door and down the pathway.
