The great Hungarian amateur (and future great pro) Laszlo Papp suffers a rare stoppage defeat at the hands of Zbiginiew Pietrykowski In Warsaw, Poland. Papp would outpoint Pietrykowski in a return match in the semi-finals of the 1956 Olympic Games, in which Papp won his third gold medal by beating future light-heavyweight champion Jose Torres in the finals.

Thanks for the amazing footage of Zbiginiew Pietrykowski, who in the West is most famous for being beaten by Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali for the light-heavyweight Gold in the Rome Olympics. Pietrykowski shared the ring with two of the greatest fighters of all time.

Pietrzykowski mógł walczyć stylem praworęcznym, to dałoby mu jeszcze większą przewagę nad Pappem.
