  • Do Allanson transformers use the GFI circuit?

  • Very nice transformer you got there, thanks for posting. Unfortunately here at Switzerland you can't get neon transformers with these beautiful porcelain insulators :-( But I have some 50Hz high volateg transformers as well, such as 9 old NSTs, some 4 OBITs, 7 MOTs and some 3 PTs. Best regards hvpower

  • How do you call that transformer? A neon transformer or ... ??

And fro how much can I buy them?

    Thx & cool video!

  • Could you send me a diagram?

  • I built one out of a 20k.....we'd put a hot dog in the gap and it would make it scream it would cook so fast. Once my old bass player used insulated pliers to grab a hot dog offa there and the arc jumped across the insulation and went right under his thumbnail!!! (never seen his fingers move that fast in 25 years of playing onstage with the guy ha ha !) It shocked him and burned him UNDER his thumbnail, which turned black.....careful kiddies.....no bonging while using "high" voltage....carry on

  • were can i get a neon sign transformer that is 9kv and 30 mA

    btw nice ladder

    thx in advance

  • simple my ass

  • you can get a good transformer out of a microwave..just make sure the capacitor is discharged..or you may get one heck of a wake up call...lol gluck
