With not one, not two, not even three but FOUR feature-laden components, the Cakewalk SONAR V-Studio 700 certainly has enough going on to keep you awake nights. Whether you actually do anything but play around with the fader bar is up to you, but we suspect you will.

  • @religiousrulings, Sonar is PC only. The VS700r (rack interface) connects via USB and the control surface connects to the rack via a single d-sub type cable. Overall it is rediculously simple and brilliant.

  • so this all runs through a PC?,,none of the reviews i have read talks about the PC hook up,,,just looking at the system ,it almost seems like a stand alone, with its own hard drive,,,but I guess not,,,
