Guinness World Record-Setting Singing Lesson

With a final count of 6,651 people, the seats in the Sommet Center exploded with sound as Sweet Adelines International set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Singing Lesson. What a sight ... a sea of singers participating and practicing vocal techniques taught by International President Peggy Gram and 2009 International Champion Quartet Moxie Ladies.

At the end of the lesson Danny Girton, Jr., an official Guinness World Records adjudicator, was on hand to present Gram and Moxie Ladies with a certificate for the new world record. While presenting the award, Girton, Jr. stated "We welcome Sweet Adelines International into the Guinness World Records family for its inspirational and fun achievement."
