Sccy CPX-1 Test

My friends and me taking my new Sccy CPX-1 out to test shoot it. We shot ten rounds total of Sellier and Bellot 115 grain FMJ 9mm Luger. At the end of the video is a short review based on our experience with it. The soundtrack is The Way We Roll by the Newsboys.

Nice video! Just watch what you read on these gun forums! There is a lot of useful info but also

a lot of garbage from people who don't know what their talking about. And give a bad rap to a pistol

or revolver cause they don't know how to shoot it

right!!

A lot of people seem to use Winchester White Box, I should try and get some. I'm really glad to hear that the mod works, I know there a lot of people that have problems with the safety. I would hate for people to write off the CPX-1 just because of the safety.

Great video, 5 stars. I have the same weapon and it has been 100% reliable too. I don't like the placement of the safety, it jabs my thumb during recoil. I'm not accurate with mine yet but it is not the gun's fault :) You however shoot yours extremely well, it's not easy to shoot so I'm impressed with your groups at 50 feet.

Thanks! It's awesome to hear that yours is 100% reliable. I'm sorry the safety hurts your thumb, like I said I have no trouble with it. I must have small hands. :) Thanks again. Not all of those shots were from 50 feet but that first one sure was. :) I just took it to the range and I was very satisfied with its groups. It had a couple of feeding problems but I think it was mostly the ammo, especially since it only occured once with each ammo type I shot. What do you shoot in it?

I own one and I love it, but I will say you will get alot of jams if you use ammo it doesnt like (it hates federal bulk and PMC and will jam alot if you use that) I reccomend Remington UMC FMJ for range ammo. I use remington UMC JHP as primary load. I havent tried the winchester white box yet but ive heard good things.

just got one and when i get passed the recoil placing the gun on safe, i like it alot and it feels good in my hand...glad I ran acrossed it...and its got a noise above and beyond the visual impression of it I got.

i've had the safety problem as well. the safety aims down toward the hand in safe position (bad idea). its common. contact sccy for a safety removal kit ($20). a DAO pistol needs no safety anyway.
