Body Fortress Protein powder (per scoop) - 40 calories, 20 calories from fat, 2g total fat,
1g saturated fat, 60 mg cholesteral (chocolate has 45mg), 3g total carb, 1g sugars, 26g protein
SF Torani syrup - 0 everything
SF jello mix - 3 calories, 1g protein
SF FF instant pudding mix, 5 calories, 0 protein
Skim milk - 90 calories, 8g protein, in an 8 oz serving
As you can see, I use Body Fortress vanilla or chocolate protein powder as a base for all of the recipes. You can use your preferred brand of protein and/or unflavored protein I'm sure.
I have used light vanilla soy milk and light unflavored soy milk, the only difference being that soy milk has 2 grams less protein than skim milk.
The amounts of flavorings are to taste. I usuall use 1 oz of the Torani in vanilla based shakes, a little more with the chocolate based shakes.. The same goes with the jello and pudding mixes.

I can't take credit for some of these recipes, some were ideas I found on the web that i tweaked a bit, but the majority are my own simple creations.
I hope that these recipes will give you ideas to make your own tasty creations. Who says we have to drink plain old chocolate and vanilla protein shakes?
If you have your own recipes and/or ideas, please share them here or make a video response. I'd love to see what other wls peeps are doing to shake up their shakes!
@ilovetheniqab sorry I spelled your YT nick wrong! I have a question.. what is niqab? I like the nick, it's very interesting!

@susi1662 LOL! That's OK! Niqab is a face veil that some Muslim women wear for modesty and a way of showing devotion to God. Kinda like Nuns who wear the Habit. Unfortunately, a lot of people think we are forced to wear it by our husbands/family but we're not--in most cases. Sadly, some ignorant, "doody-head" men do force their wives but they are in the very small minority. :)

Hello! I kind of figured that it ha
d
to do with Islam, just by the way it's spelled. I know what a hijab is, and I thought that it might be something similar Thanks for the explanation!

Hi people,
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your comments, I'm still fairly new to this!
@ilove the niqab You're welcome! I just made a video showing a "recipe" for the way I am getting my shakes in now, if you are interested in watching that.
@ iamgeekdude Thanks for you well wishes! I am 8 months out and doing great! It was the best decision I've ever made in my life!

Thanks so much for this! I have been resisting using protein powders since my surgery because I have not found one I liked (til now). I am using right now, Shakeology, which I really really love and addicted to; you can add things to it but for me I like the taste, so I don't add much other than a banana or blueberries depending on my mood. I haven't tried Body Fortress but I hear a lot like it. Maybe I'll try that too, if there is no big aftertaste. Thanks for all the recipes!

@ilovetheniqab
Hello again :)
I've never heard of Shakeology. Is it a fruity protein powder, or one that you mix with milk? I got really tired of drinking the milky type shakes, and I switched to a fruit flavored one by 4 ever fit. I'm out of it right now, and like you I can't afford to get any because I am broke. I am on disability, but am not eligile for food stamps, becausen I make "too much" money, LOL! I do still have some of the Body Fortress still, though
