West Australian power pop band with the second single from their sole LP "No Sweat". The album came out in 1979 so presumably the single did as well, or possibly 1980. This was probably their only Countdown appearance.

  • OMFG! I have been searching for some time to get a hold of this video clip. I used to see them religiously for years. We became friends with the band. Dick graciously lent me tape recordings of some of their live shows and some of their recordings that didnt make it onto their album.

My wife is currently reading a murder novel at the moment where the main character and location is set in Perth and Loaded Dice is mentioned twice in the story. Man what a set of coincidences in one week.

  • Sounds like a Dave Warner novel??

  • Thankyou for putting this up whoever you are!!!!

The guitarist Phil is my ex-husband and we have been looking for this clip for decades!

Our son is 17 and a guitarist himself in a local Perth band, he is blown away to be able to see his Dad on Countdown xxx

  • Very welcome. :) It's funny, I've just had it on an old VHS tape in the bookcase all this time - now, 30 years after the event, it lives again! Which one is Phil - stage left or right??

  • Liked the music and ended up buying the album in 1980. There's some great tracks like this on it.

  • That's Phil on the left. I loved working for these guys in the 80's!

  • this clip has just reminded me where the lads got their groovy dance moves from.....go Dick!

  • it's just fantastic to see this again; thank you so much !

  • Yes thats the author. Great book so my wife tells me.

  • the best live band ever.I use to watch them live at brighton hotel, no other band would attempt some of the 60's tunes they did. their harmonies were incredible,my band member KEN played keyboards for them at one time.they were the best years.

  • He is the one on the left if you are facing the stage from the audience :)
