Lithium-Batterie microscale (Dr. Lutz) Lithium battery microscale

Auf ein Stückchen Cu-Blech (+ Pol) kommt ein mit CuSO4-Lösung getränktes Filterpapier und anschließend eine kleine Scheibe gereinigten Lithiums (- Pol). Darauf wird ein Graphitstab gedrückt.
Der gelieferte Strom treibt einen Elektromotor an. Eine Spannung von 2,7 V und ein Strom von 14,6 mA werden angezeigt.
A filter paper wetted with CuSO4 solution is placed on a small Cu plate (+ terminal). A small slice of cleaned lithium (- terminal)is pressed onto the paper. The current produced by this Galvanic Cell drives an electric motor. A voltage of 2,7 V and a current 14,6 mA is indicated.
