About noon on May 24th I was only Public Square coming back from lunch when I heard a noise behind me. I turn around and see a dumpster being towed with a chain. It wouldn't be so abnormal except that the dumpster was not on a trailer. It was being pulled along on it's casters!

  • I'M surprised they even bother with dumpsters, last time I was in Public Square there wasn't an open business in the area.

  • Looks like something somebody in Hazleton would do...

  • what white trash would say

  • @ESP1EMG Scranton used to have many electric trolley lines running in and around the city before cars were common. In the last decade Scranton now has the Electric City Trolley Museum with a restored line going from steamtown to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees stadium.

  • @sgprailfan why did they give it that name?

  • @ESP1EMG Scranton was the electric city

  • Unreal.I've noticed much of the area needs to be carpet bombed and rebuilt.

Many neighborhoods consist of poorly built, fire prone coal company houses, that should have been condemmed 40 yearsago.

    NEPA does grunge right..

  • low life city with tons of out of work white trash.

  • hahaha, i love living here<3

  • lol
