WOW the memories i brought this ship out of the yard in Germany and this was a great cast of people and talented but JAR got the shows all wrong on this one . BIG TIME
Tubez never lasted very long it was either a wap bam boogie or a boogaloo
As for the NCL productions being better, hmmm yet could be the shows and that made them NCL productions cast look rather bland
JAR imo set the bar

This was terrible. I really hope they were marking it and was just "playing", especially for the hip hop choreography.

Im not sure what shows you saw.. I was on the Norwegian Spirit not too long ago and their Singers and Dancers were Amazing. Two of the singers on this ship I have seen in Bway Musicals a few years back and all the singers were Amazing with Huge voices and Ranges and Im sure their score for that ship were High.

NCL productions has the WORST dancers and singers of any of the production companys i have ever seen, this is why they hired other companies to do the new ships and to replace them on the ships they are already on! The ratings for the NCL productions shows were always in the low 70s while the ratings for Jean anns shows were always high 80s to mid 90s out of a scale of 100!

Then you've obviously never seen Sealegs Circus at Sea on the Norwegian Wind. NCL Productions such as On The Radio on the Norwegian Majesty are much better, and have absolutely no set.

HA funny other than tubes which i admit was a flop, JAR has the most bare bones sets compared to any other cruise company( i should know ive been in shows for almost every major cruise line there is!) and it is ALL about the talent with JAR!

Its not the sets fault it sucked, i love Jean Ann and her shows but this whole idea was bound to be a flop who thought that hiring two BMX guys to do one number a week each on a moving ship was a great idea needs shot! oh well at least they were smart enough to cut their losses and take the show off and replace it with a version of south beach rave.

Yes, this is a Jean Ann Ryan show. I helped build it in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. We built the acrylic tubes, and installed all the iCove LED's from Color Kinetics. Sorry it was such a flop....
