Glide Memorial Church is a United Methodist Church in San Francisco, California that opened in 1929.
"Our mission is to create a radically inclusive, just and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization."
Since the 1960s, Glide Church has provided various services for the poor and disenfranchised. Glide serves three meals daily, amounting to over 750,000 free meals a year. The church also provides HIV testing, mental and primary health care, women's programs, crisis intervention, an after-school program, creative arts and mentoring for youth, literacy classes, computer training, job skills training, drug and alcohol recovery programs, free legal services for the homeless, housing with case management, and much more.
Visitors from all over the world attend Sunday celebrations, of which music is a prominent part. The Glide Ensemble and Change Band have become an integral part of the Sunday celebration.
If you haven't been there yet, you should go and experience it yourself, you won't regret it!

@exgrap I don't think he would, nothing against Glide or any church. Christ would not worship at any church because he is the one who should be worshiped. I would say he may dwell there, but he cannot worship himself, but we must worship him, for he is God.

@ Ma007rk I was raised in fundamental Christianity, and always hated the judgmental attitude of the followers. Glide is a beautiful church, doing the very work the Bible calls Christian churches to do: serving the community, loving one another and leaving the judgement to the savior. Perhaps you should spend a little time thinking about how many you are turning away from your God be being the self appointed judge of "heinous" sins.

@Barbazoo1 i think its called savouir but idk if you can buy it, if you go to the service they play it at the start, and they usually have a recording of the service after its over and they always do that song so it should be on the recording after the show

This is a big problem in Christianity today. People are so afraid of offending people that nobody wants to speak out and and question anything. Everybody wants a "Feel Good' Christianity where they leave feeling good even if they are living in the most heinous of sins.
