White Water Landing at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH

After learning that White Water Landing was being removed to make room for a new attraction I decided to try and shoot some video. The quality isn't that great. It's on my old camera. Plus, On Ride video isn't allowed and there aren't many places to shoot the ride from. I did the best I could on short notice. It's better than nothing I guess.

Why doesn't Cedar Point allow on ride video? Other parks have numerous uploads of their rides here, I think it helps to promote your park and there's just a cool sense what others get from their camera, instead of just the official photo.

@Knightmessenger Cedar Point has many ride videos on their website and YouTube page. They feel it's better to yeild on the side of caution by not allowing guests to take their own on ride video.

I used to work at cedar point and I can remember when they took this ride out, it was sad. I use to ride this ride even when I was little. Cp had changed much.

Great music choice. I worked the sippercart in the line for this ride in 1983. 1984 and 1985 I worked the footlong hot dog stand right next to WWL.

This was one of my favorite rides at the Point. I enjoyed the long, slow ride to the top. After a day of walking around, it was good to find something that moved; but, not too fast ;-)

I had no idea this ride was gone. I rode it in 1982 when it first opened, and planned on riding it in August. What was it replaced with, Shoot the Rapids?
