  • Most of those places restaurants etc,, don't exist anymore, this video may have been done 20 years ago. I'm from Perù and I go to Cusco every year, nowadays is different, The streets are more crowded and there are a lot of nice and beautiful places such bars, discos, restaurants, museums, shopping malls, historical places nowadays.

  • quinoa is a seed, not a grain.

  • Tipycal 'north american' ignorant tourist... yeah, Peru a thrid World country... as if the US's economy today is any diferent. Enjoy while you can!

  • obviously this was filmed 20-30 years ago -- check out his Rio video where he's using the huge microphone. The US dollar was actually strong at the time of filming , and the Monistario hotel probably cost a lot less too. In any case, those short pants just seem wrong.

  • I was there last summer....one word....Amazing....the people are so friendly and sincere....no stress, pure enjoy

  • You can buy many things with your Dollars, not because Peru is 3rd World Country, but because the prices are reasonable, so you can buy good quality things there with Soles too. You don't see prices super inflated by taxes either. There is a lot competition in businesses & public services, so everybody tries to do the best. So you find in Peru good friendly service that together with the interesting views, traditions & culture in general, makes you feel good. Peru is rich in many ways!!!

  • The dollar is strong because Peru is a 3rd world country ?

You dont undertand nothing about economy, The dollar is falling apart. You can buy very little In Brazil and Chile with your "dolllars" for instance.Let's not talk about the Euro, which is a real strong currency.

3rd world ? How come youre a president of Geographic? Very disrespectful, and OLD comment. You should say at least "a developing country" . Call peru 3rd world is like calling an afro american "niger" .

  • this dude rocks.he is a great narrator.

  • Well, there are rude people but we actually like american people as tourists, as well as canadian, german etc but I have to admit that the frenchs are anoying.
