its sick how most hockey players can play any of the mainstream sports at least decently but if you took any pro athlete from a different sport and put them on ice they cant even skate

To all those comments; We are born learning to walk and run. We use it to get from place to place. We do not skate. Skating is a skill, walking is 2nd Nature. Too some Skating is 2nd nature, Walking is a skill.

@hughsmister9 well if you use your brain a bit, wihtou thinking subjectively, you would realize that hockey /skating is a specialized activity compared to being on your feet and playing ball/ etc. And speaking honestly basketball is a not that difficult of a sport to play, but very difficult to excel at it.
