I been there for the outlet mall just across from the powerplant, I do not want to swim in that water its filthy and always got some orange stuff floating in it. I also used to go with my metal detector on the beach but only found a doller fifty on it, never been to the casino though, but would like to for the stars they have in concert at the pavilian next to it just for that reason.
I wish the lighthouse still used a diaphone they are soo rare even on the great lakes.

@AwesomeBeatles NIPSCO is the ugliest fucking eye sore on the face of the earth. it ruins the gorgeous shoreline... and gets this nasty shit all over my boat.

I visited Michigan City during the summer and I, for the most part, I enjoyed myself quite a bit. I especially enjoyed the beach and the dunes.

I live here in Michigan City. We do not utilize our lake front at all. We gave 3/4 of it away to the state park, then we let NIPSCO have some of the best real estate in the world, which leaves the public with a swimming area. No resturants on the water , nothing. I love Michigan City, but what a joke.

Good work Jeff! I used to spend a lot of time in MCI and these shots capture many of the elements of being at Washington Park on a summer afternoon.
