  • They probably will make an X game if they are selling nes games on the wii like castlevania. I still wanna buy a wii just cause of some of the old nes games were so good. Im sure alot of people would play another X title tho.

  • @tnoble711 Hmm, hopefully, but at this rate, only time will tell, I wouldn't mind seeing though. Contra 4 sold a lot too, which is why Konami made Contra Rebirth. Imagine what a possible MegaMan Rebirth would be like, haha, that'd be pretty awesome too.

  • Megaman x was like castlevania with robots and megaman would make heroic manuevers to get around a deadly robotic gothic world and hunt mavericks. The bosses as well as the maps well accomodated X's abilitys. Surely they need to do something with this franchise but its far from perfect. megamans actual storys werent awful but sometimes they were bad. they did good with zero but axel and the rolling back of sigma really needs to be forgotten. they also need to bring Robo back so we can have Red X

  • @tnoble711 they should probably forget about x8 and x7 cuz the horrible storyline and "3d" visuals nearly killed the flawless gameplay. Just slap a new title and enemy and a simple story and making sure the maps and bosses accomodate X's abilitys. it cant be that hard to make a game. even an online co op would add multiple bosses and more map team work. They did it with mario on the wii so its not any different. I know it sounds like overkill but theres really nothing else they can do its 2d.

  • @tnoble711 [2/2 I just hope this thing about them having MegaMan in Street Fighter X Tekken doesn't do anymore damage to his character. With Legends 3 and Universe cancelled, they could easily work on a MegaMan 11 sometime, hopefully.]

  • @tnoble711 [1/2] Tell me about, MegaMan wasn't just classic, it was also unique as well. Running and shoot enemies to get to the boss. In a lot of way, I enjoyed MegaMan more then I did Mario and Zelda, it was that good. MegaMan X on the other hand, different storyline and all, but decent, I still enjoyed the classics more. Even the Battle Network series was fin, as well as the TV shows too. True, some of them could've been better, but I suppose it was the Challenge factor.

  • @Witness2TheWade Yeah, that's true and Ryu is an awesome classic character, but for me, ever since I was young it's always been Mega Man since day one. The first Street Fighter game wasn't even as popular as the first 2 Mega Man games if I'm correct. I just don't get why Capcom would have a grudge with Inafune unless they had a misunderstanding no one has talked about yet, but they should always acknowledge the fans, because if it wasn't for the fans, Capcom wouldn't be around.

  • @MrWeenieProductions Well, leaning towards Ryu is obviously because of the recent fighting game boom of the last few years that SFIV had a huge hand in. But I think a video game company should be able to lean on 2-3 mascots rather than just one, and Mega Man's been just as iconic for Capcom as Street Fighter. So they need to either admit out of respect that they're moving away from Mega Man or get over their grudge with Inafune and put the next closest guy in charge of it.

  • @Witness2TheWade I agree with you there.

And you're right, I just don't get why Capcom is leaning more towards Ryu from Street Fighter. Because honestly, I like MegaMan a lot more then Street Fighter.

It's like first, Mega Man games were going strong, then they just stopped them for no reason, and didn't even tell us why.

  • If Miyamoto left Nintendo, that's at least Mario, Zelda, *and* Star Fox, and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some others as well. They couldn't afford to take all that down like Capcom is doing Mega Man, otherwise that's dead business right there.
