i'm an VERY shy and kind of a loner at school. Take it from someone that knows: it is MUCH harder than it sounds:'( i try to build up the confidence to talk to someone and then it goes away. And it's always so awkward trying to start a conversation because I never know what to say or talk about.

@uxrxaxnoobxx For a start, stop telling yourself that you ARE shy. Makes it difficult to move beyond that state if you always see yourself in those terms.

@rockinsingleguy88 Wow ! I just had to respond to this one. Love yourself, love life, it is beautiful. Happiness is on the inside : ) If you just want to meet a girl quick try one the dating services such as Match.com. You can meet someone on there quick. There's probably not a lot of "HOT" girls on there but i'm just sayin if you want some company. I personally would rather have a "sweet" average girl anyway.

@mexillionbabe She doesn't mean literally ALWAYS having a smile on your face, she clearly means have a light hearted manner about yourself, act in a way that seems like you are not entirely hell bent on creating a good first impression, mearly be yourself just less openly shy.
Essentially what I gather from when she says "always have a smile on your face" is that she means learn to act as though you are relatively happy.

I dont have any friends so i tend to stay home, ive tried to make friends everyway i possibly can but still no luck. im at the point that trying dsnt seem worth it. People just hate me from first sight. some people just cant be helped
