Derrick "4D" Johnson is the only active lifter that is a National Champion and is a full-time Head Coach that produces National Champions. He established the out of state tuition waiver for LSUS and created the only collegiate program (Lindenwood University) in USA history that gives scholarships (includes all costs associated with traveling to competitions) to weightlifters around the world. The 1st African American to be a Head Coach of an International trip for USA Weightlifting, and one of the youngest coaches to be a Head Coach. Alot of lifters have lifted and when they were finished you never heard from them again, all they did was take and never give anything back and are all partially responsible for USA Weightlifting being on the verge of bankruptcy....

2004 62kg. American Open Champion
110 kg snatch
Team: Lindenwood Lions
Lindenwood University Olympic Weightlifting Head Coach
Team USA Head Coach for 2010 Youth PanAm-Championships

  • @sjm39 Do you honestly think that comment made you off as smart or witty? I sure hope not. Olympic style lifting takes an incredible amount of strength. BTW, how far are you on Skyrim right now?

  • @khonfosh Ouch!!!

  • C'MON DEREK!

  • Nice lifting! A lot of people hatin out there!

  • @aLazytoeProduction Its called a Snatch. Much harder and requires one to begin with less weight, but much more effective when it comes to overall muscle explosion.
