this is one of the best post rock songs imo. Beautiful harmony

@roniusmaximus no c'mon it's 100% post-rock. mogwai is post-rock standart, at least people think so. Caspian is my standart of post-rock. I was in MONO live concert, they have really unbelievable calmness and great themes, sometimes too much noise storm appears.. but still Caspian is what means "post-rock" to me=)

nice! i like this song!
-
is it really necessary for them to make unbearable noise if they can get their point and emotions across quietly and calmly?
-
I've seen them in Finland once already. But I'll come to Iceland too.
-
just paddle over to Iceland to see sigur ros :)
-
Then why did you bother to comment?
-
They should come to Finland. I'd definitely be there.

I love this band!!
but:
I sometimes think they are too like the band mono. And I don't know if that is good or bad yet. Someone who can try to answer me on this?
Maybe it will be some rare kind of a new genre, where every band almost do the same but in small (i don't know how to finish here)
I hope and think that someone knows what I mean here and have found an answer.
I don't know yet.

yeah there are actually several band that could potentially be placed in this "new genre": MONO, Caspian, This Will Destroy You, Mogwai, Yndi Halda, Godspeed...Black Emperor, Explosions In The Sky, etc... Most people recognize it as Post Rock, but at the same time, most fans of this music despise that term. It seems the expression of emotion through progressive, intstrumental music is what most of these bands all have in common.
