Hehe actually, Banff/Lake Louise have always been the 'tourist' spots of Alberta, for the same reason as you just mentioned; we Albertans like to keep the best places for ourselves ;)
Don't get me wrong, Banff is gorgeous, but it's just the tip of the iceberg of what there is to see here.

Been there thrice. The pictures do not do it justice! I almost am afraid of letting the secret of Banff/Lake Louise out to the public. I want it all for myself! LOL

aaah. i just left Lake Louise, was working at the chateau for a year... i miss those mountains. I wish you had captured Fairview furthor to the left
