Don't be doubtin' on Johnny there, Paully! The following is from a NY Times piece, "Recalling Screams Heard Round the World" (2/6/94):

After they had sung "All My Loving," "Till There Was You" and "She Loves You," Mr. Sullivan, in a bit of show-biz schmaltz, announced to his audience that the Beatles had dedicated the songs to Johnny Carson, the columnist Earl Wilson and Randy Paar, daughter of the host's longtime television rival, Jack Paar.

Seems Ed was trying to do some showbiz making up!

I would guess he's goodnhealthy 45 years old here, just on maturity of looks, not the actual dates of birth and showdate.
