I hope that the pak-fa become a the slayer of this furious eagle or the russians would have wasted tonnes of money on a boys toy that gets downed easily by this flying valuable asset

Russian produce some good quality products. The Topol-M ICBM is also very good. The Russian Vympel "Ramjet Adder" was licienced to MBDA which will now produce the Meteor BVR missile. To go on the Typhoon and the Rafale and others.

wow. nice that the russians were able to come up with something incredible before we did. the russian equivelant of the AMRAAM is the Vympel R-77. considering who made it, and what it's equal to, it was given the name amraamski. i know the 9x works easily on the outside. but it should have been able to work in the Raptor instantly. given the fact that it had worked on all those other planes like the super hornet, F-15 F-16 etc

Sidewinders started from the "A" model i think? There up to the "M"+ models. The Russian R-74E Archer works better then the AIM-9M. It has trust vectoring or jet vein control or whateva else they call it these days.

Theres only one type of 5th gen fighter in service. AIM-9X works perfectly on the outside of most of the US fighters :) The F-35A Block 3 will be able to fire the Block 2 Sidewinder from what i read. Confusing? Ye i know ha. Hehehe

ok. i think it really is time for a change. the sidewinder came out in the mid 50s. i think the air force, navy, and marines have been using the same version all this time. but how come the AIM-9X block I cant see outside the raptor? the air force should have come up with a solution up front. that is, if they wanted to have a better version of the sidewinder. maybe they didnt
