[HD] Tanfield Steam Railway (1), 9/2009

[HD] Tanfield Railway the oldest existing railway in the world runs from Sunniside to East Tanfield Co.Durham.The main station Andrews House is at Old Marley Hill and the nearby engine sheds are an attraction in themselves. There is also a platform at Causey Arch site of the worlds oldest surviving railway bridge.

great vid..i grew up in sunniside and this brings back lots of fond memories of the area.

I'm having the same problem. Using my Panasonic HD video I get 80 minutes of HD recording on an 8GB SD card.  Uploading to You Tube takes ages, typically one hour for each minute of video. Often the internet connection breaks during the long upload time.

I got some very nice still shots at the Tanfield Railway Steam Gala on the Saturday. The weather was unbelieveably good.
