This is one of my favorite songs from the '70's. To be exact, the Summer of '72 when I was a teenager in Pittsburgh caddying at South Hills Country Club and playing golf at South Park Golf Course. What great memories this brings back when days were much more carefree and without the stress of today. Wish I could go back for just one day. I didn't know Eugene Record was the lead singer of the Chi-Lites until I researched it recently. What a great voice he had. So pure. Such a great loss.

This is what singing is about Mr Record you are surely missed - I am so glad I had the pleasure to have grown up when you were singing - my memories of your voice will live forever - My first love used to play your songs for me. Oh how sad to hear that you have passed on - I did not know - May you rest in peace - you were a true soul singer - a DIAMOND. Beautiful,fine,magical.

This group was hearing him IN VENEZUELA IN THE 70 `S, and were a sensation that PLEASING RETURN TO REMEMBER THOSE YEARS. A great decade .....!!!!

This Man was as Sincere and Gentle as he was a singer. I had the wonderful experience as to meet him and His beautiful Wife. I was able to spend A few Christmas Parties with them the three years, (each year) before he past. He was the most Humble man I have ever met. So sweet spirited. God Bless you Mrs Records and family, our hearts go out to you. It was a Pleasure knowing you and your husband.
