i remember about 7 years back when i started playing guitar at 15, my dad(R.I.P) and my older cousin told me "listen to Blind Melon, they are VERY good, listen to the words". i always liked No Rain, Change and Galaxie the most. I am now 22. i heard this while driving out to the lake about a month ago. i played it over like 4 times in a row, and this tune just fuckin hit me deep for some reason. i love every second of it, really good vibes, i guess it took me 7 years to realize what they meant :)

never forget seeing this on Letterman, I was blown away by this new song I hadn't heard yet. hen the next day he died right here in my city, outside of Tips on Napoleon. so sad!

i just love how fuckin letterman says " very funny" after shannon hoon made him nervous for overshaking his hand longer than expected, cause his cliche tagline after a comedian performs is "very funny" but they were nothing of the sort. I dont know if im the only one who finds that odd...

Hes so wigged out on drugs he shouldnt have been allowed on stage. He did nothing except embarass himself with this so called performance. He looks like shit and should of been hospitalized.

sound crew had the band up too high and shannon down too low. you can see shannon try and get the sound guy to turn him up at 1:10. dont think they ever did though and if so not enough.
