funny - yes; intelligent - yes! The message that "ultimately our problems are not going to be solved with the right man in the white house" hasn't been more relevant than it is today--with all the Obama-worship/devotion going on.

ok so 1. webb is really funny and intelligent; 2. "ultimately our problems are not going to be solved with the right man in the white house" -- this is we've been trying to tell what campaigns deem the "evangelical vote" all along. bush/Reagan or having a "holy" (notice quotes) person in the white house is not going to protect us/save us. and 3. i think the lyrics kind of are a disservice to politicians who really do work for the least of these -- like barack for example!
